Mohan Babu is an Indian film Actor. He was born on March 19, 1950 in Modhugulapalem, Madras State, India. He is the son of Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu and Manchu Lakshmamma. He made his acting debut with the Telugu film Swargam Narakam in 1975.
He starred in the films ,Driver Ramudu, Satyam Shivam, Premabhishekam,Chattaniki Kallu Levu,Patnam Vachina Pativrathalu, Tandra Paparayudu, Srinivasa Kalyanam, Kodama Simham and Kondaveeti Donga. He also appeared in the films Alludugaru, Assembly Rowdy, Rowdy gari pellam, Allari Mogudu, Brahma, Major Chandrakanth, Pedarayudu, Sri Ramulayya, Yamadonga, Jhummandi Naadam, Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda and Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu.
He won Filmfare Best Actor Award for the film Peddarayudu and CineMAA Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Yamadonga. He married Nirmala Devi Manchu. He had three children.
