Sumanth Kumar is an Indian film actor, producer known for his works in telugu cinema. He is the grand son of ANR. He is the patner of Annapurna film gallery, but also he himself ownes a production house called SS creations. He started his acting in telugu cinema industry with a film Ram Gopal Varma's Prema Katha, this film gave him an appreciation.
His film Pelli sabandham gave him the chance to act beside his grand father ANR, which was directed by K.Ragavendhra Rao. He acted in a film next to Nagarjuna in a film called Snehamante Idera. In 2003 he bustered out with 'Sathyam' in which he was paired with Genilia which came out from Annapurna films banner, this was his 1st hit.
Then coupled with Shekar Kammula for romantic drama Godavari which came out colourfully then acted in Madumassam produced by D.Ramanaidu which was once again a romantic entertainer then after a gap of almost a year he came with Golkonda High School which was a success which was taken from an english novel apart from films he is mostly intrested with sports this interst made him do the film GHS and now he is co-producing films and the Brand Ambassador of Hyderbad Skykings.
He have won many Nandi's filmfares. In an interview ANR said the person who understand me better than my sons, daughters and even my better half is Sumanth my elder Grand son.
