.Kamal Hassan is an Indian film actor, screen writer, director, producer, playback singer, choreographer, lyricist and an excellent dancer who works in a Tamil film industry. He have started his career as an child artist. After several films as an child artist. Kamal started acting in the age of 4. After 7 years, he returned to the industry, he joined as a crew member and continued by playing few supporting roles and also was an assistant director for few films. With the legendary director SRI K. Bala chandar, he started as lead roles in films. In Tamil film 'Apoorva Raagangal' in which he played a young boy, who is in love with the older woman.

     K.Bala chandar was the director who gave block busters to Kamal when he was new to the industry then Kamal entered the Telugu cinema industry his first movie was 'Maro Charithra' which was directed by K Bala Chandar. Every film in telugu was the hit and few of them were Swathi Muthyam, Sommokadidhi Sokkadidhi, Sagara Sangamam.

     .He started a production house called 'Rajkamal International', which produced several films. He also acted in many hindi films. Some of them were the sequel of telugu and tamil movies, after a couple of years he started doing some comedy dramas such as 'Panchathantram', then he have done many films.

      He acted in Dasavatharam in which he played 10 roles which was released in 14 languages. About Hassan the Times said "he has the Indian cinema proud". He also done many social services and he was the 1st tamil actor to convert his fans club into Welfare organisations. He is the Brand ambassador of orphanage for HIV/AIDS - affected children. He sponsered 5 million for cancer hospital for kids

     He published a magazine 'Mayyam by kamal'. He received many awards Padma shri was given by the Government Of India, National awards, and many Film fare awards from Hindi, Telugu, tamil industry was honered to him.
