Akkineni Nagarjuna is an Indian film Actor. He was born on Aug 29, 1959 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the son of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Akkineni Annapurna. He made his acting debut with the Telugu film Vikram 1986.
He starred in the films Majnu, Geethanjali, Shiva, President Gari Pellam, Allari Alludu, Hello Brother and Criminal . He also appeared in the films Ninne Pelladata, Annamayya, Nuvvu Vastavani, Santosham, Manmadhudu, Sivamani, Mass, Nenunnanu, Sri Ramadasu, Dhamarukam, Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana.
He won two National Film Awards, nine state Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South. He married Amala Akkineni in 1992. He had two children.
